The SAT21A05DWD is an ultra-low capacitance bi-directional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) designed to provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for high-speed data interfaces. With a typical capacitance of only 0.25pF, SAT21A05DWD is designed to protect parasitic-sensitive systems against over-voltage and over-current transient events. It complies with ISO-10605(±20kV air, ±20kV contact discharge), IEC61000-4-2 (ESD) (±20kV air, ±20kV contact discharge), IEC61000-4-5 (Surge) (10A, 8/20μs), etc.
The SAT21A05DWD is available in a DFN1.0×0.6-2 package. Each SAT21A05DWD device can protect one high-speed data line. The combined features of ultra-low capacitance, ultra-small size and high ESD robustness make SAT21A05DWD ideal for high-speed data ports and high-frequency lines (e.g., USB3.x& DVI) applications. The low clamping voltage of the SAT21A05DWD guarantees a minimum stress on the protected device.
